KASIA (Kasia Fryklund) is an artist and producer based in Vancouver, Canada. With a unique blend of high-energy and ground-breaking new sounds, KASIA’s music seamlessly fuses together elements of house, 432 healing frequencies, bass house and ethereal music through melodic synths and otherworldly tones to form a sound that is entirely her own.

As a classically trained pianist, KASIA has been honing her musical skills since the age of six. She has played in a variety of bands, including her first professional work as the lead singer for the synth pop group “Fan Death”. After deciding this sound wasn’t for her, she continued working at a distance with a producer in Argentina (Trimming Moods). This consisted of recording on the road while travelling for modeling in Miami, New York, Toronto, and Oregon.

After deciding to take more control of her musical direction, KASIA began producing music in 2021. Through her initial slate of music (including the singles “Spring”, “Queens”, and “Royal Tears”) KASIA subsequently partnered with 9MM LABEL in Spain, 404 Deep House Records, and the all-female label Powher Sound, who signed her as a producer and mentor. In October 2022, KASIA became a delegate of The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS).

In 2023, KASIA played dozens of shows around her home province of British Columbia highlighted by a summertime slot at the Rifflandia Music Festival.

Following the subsequent release of “Heartstrings” – the first single to drop from her debut 2024 album “BASS” – KASIA’s musical goal is to create more than a listening experience; it’s a spiritual and energizing journey to elevate the human experience and connect people with their higher selves towards a new avenue of intricate understanding.
